BB Door BMS System Case Study

Introduction:

BB door is Business management system. This system is used to efficiently manage the work of his employees. The client/-/-s main purpose of developing this system was to have a well-maintained working strategy for his employees. There are four user uses this system. Super admin, office admin, manager and technician

Lead Information:

Super admin, office admin, manager and Technician are creating leads in the system. There are two types lead creates in the system.

  1. Commercial lead
  2. Residential lead

When a user creates lead they can select company from company list or add company. Related company location, contact person information and door of a company are displayed in the lead which depends on the company.

Following action are performed in the lead. Admin can perform this action for lead.

  • Appointment: A Manager and Super Admin are assigned lead to a particular technician. Users can Add/Edit/Delete Appointment.
  • Message (Email or text with note)
  • Phone conversation with note
  • Task: Information about task and deadline of task.
  • Create a quote from the lead
  • Promote lead to work order.
  • History of lead.


Quote Information:

When a user creates quote from lead they must enter information about part like part name, part number, cost, part inventory, part dimension.
The User selects more than one part for complete one lead. And also enter information about part.

Work Order Information:

Admin can add/edit and delete work order. When a manager converts a lead to a work order and in that assigns the work order to a technician through the make an appointment form, the technicians are getting task is displayed on the technician’s dashboard.

When technicians are complete work order, it will add a task to the super admin saying that the technician completed the work order and that he has to invoice the customer.

Following action are performed in the Work Order. Admin can perform this action for Work Order.

  • Task: Information about task and deadline of task.
  • Create an invoice from lead

User Information:

The four types of user are using the system.

  • Super Admin - Has access to everything
  • Office Admin - Access to everything except adding users, global settings, reporting, and cannot convert lead to quote
  • Manager - Has access to all things, including adding users except global settings and reporting
  • Technician - Access to work orders assigned to them, tasks, calendar


Company Information

User can add company information in the system. When a user adds company information user also enters the information about..

Location: location of particular company.

Contact: information of the contact person of particular company.

Door: door information about particular company. User can enter no. of door in one particular company.

User can able to add multiple locations and multiple contacts in one particular company.
