Ghumasan Village
Ghumasan is a village in Kadi Taluka of Mehsana district, Gujarat, located about 90 minutes from Ahmedabad and close to towns like Kadi and Kalol. It is home to around 4,600 people, most of whom belong to the Kadva Patidar community and speak Gujarati, with Hinduism being the main religion. The village is known for its greenery, peaceful lifestyle, and strong sense of community. According to the 2011 census, Ghumasan has a literacy rate of nearly 93%, higher than the state average, with both men and women showing high levels of education. Spread across about 909 hectares, it is governed by a local Panchayat under the leadership of an elected Sarpanch.
