Gujarati Cultural Society Of Manitoba
The Gujarati Cultural Society of Manitoba (GCSM) is a vibrant, non-profit charitable organization founded in 1978 in Winnipeg by members of the Gujarati community from the western state of Gujarat, India. Its mission is to preserve and promote the Gujarati language, culture, and traditions through a rich calendar of cultural shows, festivals (including Navratri, Diwali, and folk celebrations), language school programs, newsletters, and community outreach—all aimed at fostering cultural pride and unity among over 2,000 members. GCSM provides members with benefits like discounted access to major events such as Navratri and Anand Bazaar, enrollment in the Gujarati School of Culture and Arts, priority ticketing, networking opportunities, advertising options, and the chance to volunteer or participate in community leadership. Operating in partnership with government and healthcare organizations, GCSM continues to engage and enrich the broader Manitoba community.
