Hindu Society Of Manitoba
The Hindu Society of Manitoba is a non-profit organization founded in 1970 to promote Hindu religion, culture, and community life in Winnipeg. It operates two temples: the original Hindu Temple and Cultural Centre on Ellice Avenue and the Hindu Temple and Dr. Raj Pandey Hindu Centre on St. Anne’s Road. These temples serve as places of worship, cultural events, education, and community gatherings. The society runs programs such as Hindi and math classes for youth, a library with religious literature, yoga and wellness activities, and celebrations of major festivals like Diwali and Navratri. With its focus on spiritual growth, cultural preservation, and community service, the Hindu Society of Manitoba has become a central hub for Hindus in Manitoba.
